Forming Christ in Us: Resources for Christian Discipleship
- A Brief Intro to God’s Story throughout all of Time: This is our Summer worship theme, written about by another author, Kurt Willems, on his great Anabaptist Blog, Pangea: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/thepangeablog/2012/06/27/whats-the-story-anyway-a-brief-intro-to-narrative-theology/#more-5242
- Peace and Evangelism Together: Here’s an excellent video on how peace, evangelism, service, church planting and justice are all integral to “the whole Jesus.” By Andre Gingerich-Stoner http://mennoniteusa.org/2012/06/13/perspective-2/?utm_source=On+The+Way&utm_campaign=e5809e8217-June_2012_On_the_Way6_14_2012&utm_medium=email
- The Busy Trap, by writer Tim Kreider explores the issue of being too busy. I think his diagnosis is correct, but he writes as an upper middle class person whose profession is writing. In other words, his response to the diagnosis may be off. Nor is it particularly Christian. But valuing money over people is a sin, and to the extent he helps us see that, it is quite helpful. http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/06/30/the-busy-trap/?smid=tw-share
